Top 5 Dynamic Games on iOS in Italy Q2 2023

During the second quarter of 2023, the iOS gaming landscape in Italy saw notable performances from several dynamic games. Here’s a closer look at how the top five games fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Roblox experienced a steady increase in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads rose from around 8.2K at the end of March to over 14K by the end of June. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from approximately 268K to 304K. Weekly revenue peaked in mid-June at about $71K, maintaining a consistent performance throughout the quarter.

Gardenscapes from Playrix showed strong weekly revenue figures, peaking at nearly $117K in mid-May. Weekly downloads varied, with a high of around 14.6K in early April, and active users fluctuated between 68K and 88K throughout the quarter.

Applaydu family games saw a dramatic spike in downloads at the beginning of April, reaching nearly 42.5K, but this figure dropped significantly in subsequent weeks, stabilizing at around 600 downloads per week by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at over 62K in early April before declining to approximately 8.5K by the end of the quarter.

EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer demonstrated consistent growth in both revenue and active users. Weekly revenue increased notably, peaking at around $51K in the last week of June. Active users grew from approximately 433K at the end of March to over 575K by mid-June. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a peak of about 10.2K in mid-June.

Honkai: Star Rail, despite being a newer entry, showed promising initial performance. Weekly revenue peaked at about $70K in its launch week. Downloads started strong with around 26.4K in late April but tapered off to about 2K by the end of June. Active users peaked at around 26K in early May and then stabilized at around 17K towards the end of the quarter.
